If you want to make an impact in fintech, we'd like to know: Are you FIS?About the role:As a Programmer Analyst, you'll help provide technical support for the FIS TrustDesk Suite of products for more than 80 Wealth and Retirement clients. This could involve working with bleeding edge technology while coding, implementing, maintaining and supporting software applications.About the team:This position is part of the Wealth and Retirement CIO Team, specifically supporting the TrustDesk accounting platform products. TrustDesk is one of the 8 different applications within Wealth and Retirement.What you will be doing:
- Provide production support functions for Trustdesk applications.
- Participate in issue triage, coordinate with clients and vendors on issue triage call, and resolve client issues with Trustdesk.
- Support TrustDesk web applications running in RHEL and using IBM WebSphere.
- Provide root cause analysis to overnight batch issues and permanent resolution to the issues.
- Support file transmissions using sFTP, FTPS, NDM and MQ.
- Coordinate and support disaster recovery exercises for FIS TrustDesk and clients.
- Coordinate JCL moves and schedule changes during installs.
- Participate in end of year activities.
- Participate in audit activities.
- Gather TrustDesk statistics and report to management.
- Developing program logic for new applications and modifying logic in existing applications.
- Coding, debugging, implementing and maintaining software applications.
- Maintaining and integrating new application components.
- Ensuring deployment of system improvements.
- Technical knowledge of IBM mainframe tools including COBOL, VSAM, JCL, DB2, CICS, SyncSort, Control-M, Mainview, VPS and emulator print sessions.
- Knowledge of modern, end-to-end systems development life cycles.
- Proficiency in business modeling and requirements definition disciplines.
- A bachelor's in computer science or information systems or equivalent experience.
- Previous TrustDesk or trust accounting platform experience.
- Wealth and Retirement Systems Industry experience
