As part of this team they will work closely with the Model Risk Management group and provide solutions for identification and reporting of Model Risk across the Enterprise. This group works closely with the lines of business to ensure that risks are being appropriately managed within the defined risk appetite for the firm and adhering to Model Risk Regulatory guidance.This individual will lead an agile team to solve challenging technical problems, geared towards providing new enhancements and features for Model Risk System.Responsibilities include:

Develop, implement, and maintain software solutions to meet business requirements

Organize, lead and motivate development resources to meet expected deliverables and quality standards across multiple releases

Collaborate with business partners, System Architects/Analysts to define and develop scalable technology solutions.

Provides technical direction to the project team and perform code reviews

Work with business partners and analysts in order to understand requirements and to analyze and design the necessary software.

Assures quality, maintainability, and extensibility for supported applications.

Required Qualifications:

A BS/BA degree or higher

5+ years of Object Oriented experience

5+ years of web design and development experience

10+ years of development experience with one or more of the following: Java, C, C#, C, or .NET

5+ years of experience working with Relationship Database Management Systems (RDBMS) such as SQL Server, Oracle or MySQL

3+ years of web client side development using Angular or Razor

10+ years of application development and implementation experience

Desired Qualifications:

3+ years of financial services industry experience

5+ years of MVC (Model-View-Controller) Framework experience

5 + years of JavaScript Frameworks experience (jQuery, Ext JS, Kendo UI or Angular JS)

Experience with Agile Scrum (Daily Standup, Sprint Planning and Sprint Retrospective meetings) and Kanban

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
