DescriptionWe are seeking Tech Support Reps for a long-term role. This is 100% Remote.Apply today!-Interact with customers via inbound/outbound calls, chat, and e-mail to provide and process information inresponse to inquiries, concerns, and requests about services and technical support-Convey interest in each customer through courtesy, attentive listening, and a friendly and caring voice image-Gather customer’s information and determine their need/issue by evaluating and analyzing the symptoms-Research required information using all available resources-Follow standard processes and procedures-Advise customers of software and hardware options and best practices, offer add-on sales to products andservices where appropriate.-Follow up and make scheduled callbacks to customers where necessary-Stay current with system information, changes and updates-Service multiple customersRequirements-High School Diploma or equivalent-Minimum 1 year of customer service experience required; previous call center experience strongly preferred-Bilingual fluency in both English and Spanish preferred but not required-Previous computer support or help desk experience highly desirable-A nationally recognized certification or degree in the technology field such as CompTia/A+, Microsoft, etc.-Qualified candidates will exhibit strong communication skills for remote support using connectivity tools aswell as voice, chat, and email support-Must have a strong working knowledge of software and operating systems and can provide general usage instructions to customers-Knowledge of IoT hubs, sensors, devices, and networking desired but not mandatory-Knowledge of IoT network protocols such as Z-Wave, Zigbee, WiFi, and Bluetooth a plus-Ability to communicate technical issues in a manner that non-technical customers can understand-Highly motivated and able to work independently-Take ownership for problems and follow through to resolution, knowing when to escalate as necessary-Able to handle multiple customers from different clients simultaneously-Must be able to multitask in a very fast-paced environment-Ability to make quick and authoritative decisions independently-Must have end user support experience-Ability to absorb product information and seamlessly apply procedural changes on the fly-Must meet all KPI requirements, must be able to follow standard operating practices, and utilize multiplesystem tools effectively-Ability to perform the following over a period of up to 10 hours:-Speak with and interact with customers over the phone-Type on a keyboard and use a computer mouse-Maintain a sedentary role at a desk-Visual acuity and can utilize a computer monitor with multiple windows-Ability to be flexible with schedule on short notice-Desire to learn!Robert Half Technology matches IT professionals with some of the best companies on a temporary, project or full-time basis.
