Performs technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance. Gathers, analyzes, prepares and summarizes recommendations for financial plans, trended future requirements and operating forecasts. Provides analysis of profit and loss statements and income statements. Prepares reports of findings and recommendations to leadership. May be responsible for the review and analysis of company cash positions as well as short-term and long-term cash forecasts.Essential Functions:

Collect data, allocate costs, and prepare reports that augment the company's cost accounting system.

Ensure that costs are allocated according to established procedures.

Gather historical cost data on such activities as material purchases, labor, equipment depreciation, repairs, assembly, operating expenses, etc.

Investigate cost structures for new and existing areas of the company.

Price new services or products by developing unit costs and projecting expenses.

Prepare reports that compare budgets with actual expenses. May prepare existing or projected profitability analyses.

Compile and review budgets for corporate or organizational units using actual performance, previous budget figures, estimated revenue, expense reports, and other data sources to control funds and provide for proper financial administration.

Prepare financial plans, monitor implementation of financial policies

Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study and five (5) years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which requires US citizenship.

Must have basic knowledge of Excel, Access, Microsoft Word applications

Must have good communication skills

Preferred Additional Skills:

Experience with Hyperion (HFM) & Enterprise Performance Management (EPM)

Experience with VBA & SQL
