Retail Assistant Manager

We are seeking a Retail Assistant Store Manager to join a nationally recognized hardware company for our Mt. Pleasant location!

You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of the retail sales team.

Responsibilities:

Supervise a team of retail sales workers

Adjust daily schedule for shift personnel to ensure optimal efficiency

Train and evaluate employees

Responsible for back-office processes including but not limited to open/close of registers, till reconciliation, and cash drawer audits

Track monthly results and trends for business forecasting

Assist in the Freight Flow process of shipments, RTV, and RTW

Resolve escalated customer complaints

Previous experience in retail, customer service, or other related fields

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Excellent written and communication skills

Strong leadership qualities

Knowledge of Freight Flow process in receiving shipments, and all back of house processes
