MUST reside in the Atchison KS area.We are seeking a Windows System Administrator to join our team! You will handle a variety of projects to support and improve the organization's network systems including install/configure software & hardware; Manage servers. The ideal candidate will be independent, self-motivated, willing to wear many hats in this small IT environment, handle multiple tasks and projects with minimal direction.Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of the networking platform
  • Monitor Windows servers for performance and stability
  • Troubleshoot network & system issues and provide helpdesk support as needed
  • Set up accounts & workstations
  • Monitor network performance, Maintain WAN/LAN
  • Maintain systems and troubleshooting issues & outages
  • Monitor active network and server infrastructure
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Administer network security measures to prevent system interruptions or breaches
  • Execute sensitive data backup and restoration procedures
  • Document all technical procedures and user guides
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelors (4 year) degree is required
  • Qualified candidates should have 4+ years’ experience working with virtualized enterprise class environments (VMWare), experience with Active Directory and MS Exchange and O365.
  • Must have some PowerShell scripting skills
  • Knowledge of Cisco switches, routers and firewalls
  • Previous experience as a network or systems administrator
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP and data protocols
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
