MD OFFICE CREDENTIALING SPECIALIST

Responsible for all aspects of credentialing, re-credentialing and privileging processes for all Johnson Memorial Health Physician Network providers. Responsible for ensuring providers are credentialed, appointed and privileged with health plans, hospitals and patient care facilities. Maintains up to date data for each provider in credentialing databases and online systems. Ensures timely renewal of licenses and certifications.High school diploma or equivalent required. At least 2 years of work experience in a physician practice or medical setting required. Associate's degree preferred. 2 years of credentialing experience preferred. Must be proficient in use of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Access and Outlook. Experience with PECOs, CAQH, NPI and Taxonomy Codes preferred. Experience in accessing, managing and maintaining these codes on designated government websites preferred.Johnson Memorial Health provides award-winning services including cancer, cardiovascular, diabetes, maternity, orthopedic, sports medicine, pain, weight loss and wound healing care.
