Position Summary. The Application Developer will work within the application development team to deliver quality software applications, providing estimates for timing and effort of development tasks, implementing application software from functional and technical designs, unit testing of application software, and providing support to production applications.

Years of Relevant Experience. 2-4 years of experience

Primary Responsibilities
  • Customize internal CMS application (Pivotal CRM) and other .Net Applications (Enterprise level or smaller)
    • Interpret functional and technical specifications to implement software solutions.
    • Communicate with management the status of ongoing projects and issues on a timely basis
    • Deliver high quality solutions based on cross-cutting functional requirements including business, performance, scalability, compatibility, internationalization, security, auditing, diagnostics & logging, and failover and disaster recovery.
  • Provide operational and infrastructure support. Maintain code repositories, maintain accurate enhancement, and defect tracking status in corporate ticket tracking system, etc.
  • Provide support during work and off hours (emergencies). This will be in form of defect fixes, data modifications and emergency support
    • Support scheduled jobs pertaining to day-to-day business applications
    • Identifying issues and effectively addressing them to resolution
    • Manage support activities

Role Requirements / Skills
  • Experience with software development lifecycle models and software-testing methodologies
  • Excellent knowledge of SQL and relational database development concepts
  • Knowledge and experience working with:
    • Microsoft development platform (C#, .Net, SQL Server, Web APIs)
    • Writing stored procedures and views
    • SQL query tuning
    • Working with remote SOAP Web Services
    • Visual Studio 2017+, TFS, Dev Ops
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Good knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
  • Be self-motivated, a team player and work well with end users and other IT team members
  • Be comfortable solving problems independently and cooperatively
  • Pivotal experience desired but not required

Secondary Responsibilities
  • Interface with client teams to resolve development issues.
  • Research new technologies and tools that will enhance our application development delivery capabilities
