Local-Shag/Shuttle Driver

Local-Shag/Shuttle/ Driver (Park City)

This Job is for a local Shuttle/ shag Driver for 2nd (2pm to 10pm) and 3rd (10pm to 6am) It is planned for Monday thru Friday and possible overtime Saturdays and Sundays. Competitive wage and benefit provided.

Essential duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:

Safely operates a company vehicle/truck to transport products between shipping locations on time and according to route facility processing schedules or Movement of empty/ loaded trailers from the dock and staging area.

MUST be flexible.

Confirms route scheduled and details with Driver Manager

Verifies daily preventative maintenance of vehicle/truck, and maintains proper operator documentation daily vehicle inspections reports, and schedules.

Manages daily routine to ensure accurate and timely delivery of product.

Take responsibility for your personal safety and watch out for the safety of others while preforming duties Use and adhere to all safe work practices and policies.

Knows and adheres to Federal, State, and local highway transportation laws and regulations.

Carries at all times the required driving license and medical certification as required by state/federal regulations.

Perform additional duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the activities described above.

Qualifications:

Must be a minimum of 21 years of age, have a valid Class A commercial driver’s license.

Current CDL-A License and minimum 2 years driving experience required. (This job is LOCAL)

An exceptional driving record combined with a demonstrated history of safe and productive work experience will serve as “equivalent experience”.

Willing to be flexible based job requirements.

Meets all Federal/State DOT requirements and can pass a driving test.

Applicant will provide a 10 year work history.

No Drug and/ or Alcohol convictions within the last 5 years.

Must have proof of US Citizenship, CDL, Social Security Card and Medical Card

No more than 2 moving violation or accident in 12 months and no more than 3 in 36 months.

Pass road-test (backing, shifting, driving in traffic, freeway, streets, etc.)

Ability to speak and read English.

Good verbal/written communication skills and ability to read traffic signs.

Ability to prioritize and make decisions as to what items must be delivered immediately.

Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.

Ability to meet attendance schedule and prompt arrival.
