POSITION SUMMARY:The Occupational Health RN Clinician/Case Manager is a professional nurse who as a result of education and in-depth clinical experience possesses the advanced clinical knowledge and skills necessary to provide occupational health clinical expertise and case management to CHN associates. The Occupational Health RN provides nursing care through a collaborative process which assesses, plans, implements, coordinates, monitors and evaluates options and services in compliance with federal, state and county regulations, i.e. OSHA, CDC, JC, ADHS, ICA, and CHN policies to meet associate’s health and CHN needs and requirements while promoting optimal, outcomes and wellness. The Occupational Health RN is flexible and innovative in providing associate care within the scope of Occupational Health department policy and procedures, and operates from a deep understanding of total situations to resolve complex issues. The Occupational Health RN works collaboratively with other healthcare providers, and ancillary staff to expedite medically appropriate cost effective care and safety in the workplace. The Occupational Health RN provides wellness education and referrals, impacting medical and psychosocial care across the health care continuum. Core processes include risk assessment and care management of the CHN associate population.EducationRequired: Registered Nurse, Arizona (current); Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related field or equivalent combination of work experience and education.Preferred:LicensureRequired: Registered Nurse, Arizona (active)Preferred:CertificatesRequired:Preferred: Certified Occupational Health Nurse.Certified Case ManagerExperienceRequired: 5 years recent urgent/emergency room care, acute care or community health nursing experience.
