Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, the Marketing Events Specialist will be responsible for owning the entire process of leading virtual and in-person events, webinars, tradeshows, and field marketing activities. This includes collaborating with the Marketing team to plan the strategy, driving awareness, managing the logistics and execution, and working closely with sales on post-event follow up. This role is responsible for live and digital event support, speaker engagement and partner relationships.

You Will:

  • You will work closely with the VP of Marketing in identifying events / key events activities you need to manage, coordinate, and execute
  • Manage the schedule for all event to include webinars and other virtual thought leadership initiatives: partner events, client workshops, product webinars, lead generation events
  • Work with the Content and Demand Generation teams to support event campaigns, promotions and communications strategy (cross-media)
  • Manage logistics for various internal and external events, including pre/post-planning for virtual and in-person events, trade shows and conferences
  • Serve as the main point of contact for handling event requirements and coordination among external partners/vendors/suppliers/speakers
  • Manage event presence and communications on social media channels: live event support
  • Work closely with sales to ensure effective follow-up of event and tracking of opportunities
  • Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting on program results
  • Analyze the success/ROI of each event and propose creative new improvements accordingly
  • Manage, oversee all event execution, speaker and partner engagement, storage of assets, shipping, etc.
  • Work with Engineering and or Customer Success to set-up “live event” tools such as the Selfie Station or the Live Phone for events that specify their presence

We're Looking For:

  • Equivalent experience or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related
  • 2-4 years of strong facilitation skills of in-person and virtual events
  • Knowledge of sales/marketing automation tools and methods (preferably Marketo and Salesforce)
  • Google Suite, Microsoft Office, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Slack proficiency
  • Knowledge and deep understanding of webinar technology (preferably GotoWebinar)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, programs and priorities in a fast paced, dynamic, highly energetic environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, writing skills and the ability to work effectively with people at all levels
