Job Id: 2339 Title: Rhapsody Administrator Location: Remote, Denver, Colorado Duration: 12 Months Description: This position is responsible for performing and streamlining tasks related to the efficient operation of the incoming and outgoing data-sharing and data-transformation mechanisms for electronic lab, case, and disease reporting and for reducing the potential for errors in these integrations. Because the Rhapsody integration engine is DCPHR primary mechanism for these automated processes, this position will use the Rhapsody web management console and integrated development environment to create and maintain Rhapsody routes, monitor the operational health of Rhapsody routes and to investigate and troubleshoot issues with the electronic interchange of data.

  • Planning, creation, support and versioning of Rhapsody routes.
  • Maintain system documentation.
  • Develops best practices, strategies, plans, and procedures to implement agency policies and initiatives in Rhapsody.
  • Ensures implementation of best practices related to electronic data transmission, storage, HIPAA, information security standards, data archiving practices, records management, and other aspects of electronic data management.
  • Monitor Rhapsody environment for health and performance.
  • Monitor Rhapsody environment for system availability.
  • Perform Rhapsody user administration.
  • Plan, schedule and perform system upgrades with OIT.
  • Document systems use guidance and monitor adherence.
  • Document disaster recovery procedures.
  • Provide support for Rhapsody users.
  • Ensures implementation of best practices related to electronic data transmission, storage, HIPAA, information security standards, data archiving practices, records management, and other aspects of electronic data management
  • Plans, coordinates, and establishes methods, processes, and standards for integrating various external and internal databases.
  • Supports adoption of data standards that facilitate interoperability
  • Explores and recommends technology solutions and/or automation of key processes.
  • Provides technical assistance to users.
  • Make recommendations on project design.
  • Plan and implement a System Development Life Cycle for Rhapsody development
Qualifications:
  • Three years of experience and Bachelor's degree from and accredited institution in Data Analysis, Information Technology, Digital Health, Computer Science, Public Health, or a field of study closely related to the work assignment
  • Experience with Rhapsody program
  • Strong Attention to detail
