Mechanical Team Leader

Q Core Medical is an international Medical Device company that develops and manufactures innovative medical equipment. Specifically, Q Core develops infusion pumps and their related accessory products.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Manage the mechanical engineering team
• Responsible for the realization of the mechanical & plastic parts of the system through requirements, design, implementation and verification and validation phases.
• Responsible for ensuring that the engineering skills in the team are available to meet the demand of all programs.
• Ensure engineering standards, processes and procedures are aligned to company quality requirements
• Ensure appropriate training is applied to the team
• Responsible for Co-ordination with other groups, either within R&D or not.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: MSC/BSC degree in Mechanical Engineering

• Job skills:
• At least 10 years’ experience in combination of hands-on leadership of SW and HW development
• Experience in multi-disciplinary System Architecture
• Ability to evaluate project feasibility in terms of estimates to system complexity needs scaling the size, costs, labor and leadership requirements
• Proven ability to analyze, interpret and review technical drawings, blueprints, schematics and the like
• Must have a proven mechanical engineering background
• Must have a strong knowledge of drafting, dimensioning and custom design

• Language skills: English – full control

• Computer skills:

• Full control in all office applications
• Matlab
• Solidworks
