The HR Generalist is responsible for successful coordination, implementation, and maintenance of assigned human resources functions. This position is responsible for planning and conducting the day-to-day operations related to: group benefits and deferred compensation plans, workplace injuries and workers compensation programs, and leaves administration. This position will also carry out responsibilities in areas such as: providing analytical and technical support in the delivery of benefits programs; policy and procedure development and implementation; and other HR projects as assigned.

■ Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resource Management or a related field. Additional relevant experience in combination with training may take the place of the minimum educational degree requirement.

■ Four (4) years of increasingly responsible Human Resources experience as an HR generalist, analyst, or similar role with a strong experiential understanding of the full range of HR functions.

■ Two (2) years’ experience in benefits and leaves administration, Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) administration, and employee relations.

■ Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

■ Must have access to reliable transportation and be able to travel as the job dictates.Preferred Qualifications:

■ Experience in a unionized work environment and labor relations.

■ PHR or SPHR certification and/or CEBS certification. Compensation: Starting rate of pay is $60,750 - $72,900 depending upon experience.Schedule: Full-time (40 hours), Monday - Friday. Benefits:
