Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is seeking a Associate Software Engineer (Virtual).As an integral member of the team, you will be architecting, configuring, and maintaining DevSecOps environments for manned spaceflight transportation, missile defense systems, bombers and fighters, or any number of other critical programs. We are looking for someone who is systematic, open-minded, adaptable, team-oriented, and well-organized. Insight into DevSecOps processes with an eye toward process improvement and streamlining is a plus.You will be joining a team of software engineers from across the Boeing Enterprise who are developing best practices and cutting-edge solutions to deliver the best value to our customers. A successful candidate will highlight their interest in and experience with and eagerness to learn mission systems software, scalable architectures, and true CI/CD for everything from embedded systems to data centers. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, flexible, and will embrace continuous learning and improvement.Position Responsibilities: You will be responsible for activities including but not limited to:
- Contributing to the development of Mission Systems software services for various programs
- Building and maintaining tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations
- Working collaboratively with other engineering and system teams to move software through the software development process from software development through integration and deployment
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues in our develop, test, and production environments
- Working with geographically-dispersed interdisciplinary team of Engineering and Program Management professionals
- Designing and developing quality solutions
- Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or chemistry
- 1+ years of experience programming in C, C or C#
- 1+ years of experience with Git or equivalent version control system
- Experience with orchestration and containerization tools such as Kubernetes and Docker
- Experience with CI/CD environments and tools such as Jenkins or GitLab
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) clouds
- Strong scripting skills with languages such as Python
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Experience with automated test tools such as GoogleTest or Boost Test
- Experience with C11 and later features
- Experience with C build enablers such as CMake and the Conan package manager
