DISPATCH position in LaVergne, TN.

We are currently looking for a qualified individual to fill part-time DISPATCH position in LaVergne, TN. This is a hourly part -time position .

Typical work hours would be Sat and Sunday’s with occasional additional hours as a vacation fill-in during other days during the week .

This position will have responsibilities including , but not limited to the following

Managing a fleet of drivers on the week-end shift

Communicating timely deliveries, ensuring appointment times are met

Problem solving as issues occur with breakdown’s and / or driver illness to repower loads to make scheduled service

Updating driver positioning across the week-end through our Omnitracs system

Communicating driver needs with their full time fleet manager

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year TL dispatch experience required

Knowledge of various dispatch systems including Truckmate and Omnitracs

Great communication skills

Flexibility in scheduling on short notice

Reliable , detail oriented , and good problem solving skills
