Unique Specialty Retail Position

The Retail Store Manager is the cultural leader of the store team, responsible for achieving sales goals, ensuring customer satisfaction, as well as understanding, and telling the brand message. The Store Manager is a retail professional role model in attitude and appearance, skilled in the art of communication and customer service, who has the ability to teach these skills to the team and ultimately lead by example.

Our brand makes products that are handcrafted in Tuscany by a husband and wife along with their four daughters. The products range from home and table to fashion and body care. With a passion for sustainability, quality, and craftsmanship, many of our products are made out of washable paper. It’s a paper that evokes feelings of warmth similar to leather. The brand has expanded to include other products that are crafted from sustainable and organic materials inspired and designed by the family.

The store manager will report directly to the US distributing partner of the brand.

General Responsibilities

Be professional and ensure 100% customer satisfaction at all times

Be an ambassador and storyteller of the brand

Communicate the brand and its lifestyle through creative and effective presentations, and maximize sell-thru by product placement and signage

Recruit, interview, hire, develop, coach, and train store associates to deliver sales and customer service objectives

Minimum of three years store management experience

Strong background in payroll planning and scheduling

Flexibility in personal time commitments to do what is necessary based on the needs of the business

Up-to-date computer skills with the aptitude to learn and utilize business programs and the ability to teach these programs to the team

Ability to receive and process large shipments of merchandise daily as well as implement and oversee the efficient organization of inventory flow.
