Location: Bloomington, MN Description: Our client is currently seeking a Scrum Master to join their team immediately!

  • Location: Local to Bloomington, MN (Hybrid)
  • Duration: Direct Hire
This job will have the following responsibilities:
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies across one or more scrum teams including sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, sprint retrospectives, and estimations.
  • Drive team's focus on completing program objectives and scope, consistent on-time delivery of team's commitment with high quality; each bi-weekly sprints and each program increment
  • Maintain an organized project planning and execution using Azure project management tools
  • Remove blockers, track, and close dependencies between teams
  • Conduct bi-weekly sprint retrospectives and implement actions with Scrum teams
  • Ensure sprint user stories and features strict compliance with Definition of Done (DoD)
  • Present sprint progress with DoD metrics in management reviews including team velocity, defects metrics, field Issues, quality issues.
  • Participate actively in backlog grooming, scrum of scrums, PI planning with other teams
  • Facilitate technical discussions to drive risk mitigation options in various areas, architecture, technical implementation, deployments, code quality, etc.
  • Partner with engineering, product, and business leadership to build highly collaborative teams
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
  • 5+ years of hands-on technical Scrum Master experience with good technical foundation
  • Minimum Scrum Master certification (Scrum Alliance or Scrum.org). SAFE 5.0 Scrum master certification preferred
  • Experience managing complex technical projects to completion
  • Strong understanding of agile software development life cycle methodology
  • Strong facilitation and coaching skills and a "value oriented" mindset
  • Detailed knowledge of Epic, Features, User Stories, and BDD
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and has practical problem-solving skills with technical understanding, is a critical thinker, and self-starter
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills and experience in a fast-paced start-up environment
  • Strong collaborator and willingness to go above and beyond
