Location: Eddington, PA Salary: Flexible Description: Candidates must be able to pass a credit/background check No VACCANATION REQUIREMENT Onsite for the first 2 months, then WFH every Tues-Fri. Onsite on Mondays to collaborate with the rest of the development team. Notes from Call: - The Manager is someone we place there last year - Experience leading a small team, doing code reviews, mentoring more junior developers - 5+ years of experience, will look at more Senior candidates as well - Looking for .Net/C#, Angular, Web API, and SQL Server (or other RDB) - does not need to know .net core - Azure DevOps and Blazor are a Plus - Personality is big- someone who is inquisitive, patient/steady, good comm skills (will deal with end users) - Can translate technical concepts into practical application - Passionate about technology- have projects they work on in their own time Completes assign tasks at the direction on the VP of Software Development. Responsible for creating and maintaining internal secure business processes and web applications to help empower the PFFCU staff to maximize productivity and better serve our members. Responsible for handling custom web front end (Angular) and backend (C#) programming as well as other software projects/tasks. The ideal candidate should have strong C# and Angular programming skills and solid understanding of OOP & Web API design principles. Experience with Azure DevOps deployments is a plus. TECHNICAL/BUSINESS SKILLS 1. Technical Skills: • 5+ years current hands-on experience with each of the following: o Microsoft Stack: C#, .NET/Core, Web API, SQL, Blazor, Entity Framework, IIS, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, etc. o Developing web applications using: Angular (10+), Typescript, NPM, Material, Bootstrap, Responsive Design, etc. o Writing complex and efficient SQL queries, creating stored procedures, and relational data databases using SQL Server (or similar DB). • Experience working with ORM frameworks such as Entity Framework and Dapper. • Sound understanding of OOP design principles. Dependency Injection, Abstraction, Inheritance, etc. • Experience with REST principles, Service-Oriented Architecture, and Web API development using C#. • Experience with designing and maintaining relational databases to support applications. Microsoft SQL preferred, TSQL, (SSIS, SSRS a plus). • Familiarity with building pipelines and releases in source control products such as Azure DevOps and Git. • Familiarity with 3rd party toolsets a plus. JetBrains, Telerik, Syncfusion. • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. 2. Teamwork & Communication Skills • Demonstrate effective business and technical communication and collaboration skills. • Highly security focused in practice and development methods. • Work with end users and BA team to troubleshoot and resolve issues. • Experience communicating with internal business partners and BAs to find creative solutions to business problems. • Strong verbal and written skills for explaining and discussing technical concepts within the group. • Willingness to share and discuss ideas and concepts within the development team. • Must keep abreast of technological advances and be relied upon for expertise and judgement to improve PFFCU's programming operation. o Develop a strong working knowledge of PFFCU's technical environment and business processes - software, hardware, intranet / internet, and networking systems. o Enforce PFFCU programming standards through specification review and code reviews for other PFFCU programmers. o Develop and support interfaces to PFFCU's third party partners using APIs and ETL processes. o Maintain confidentiality of PFFCU member information and work in a highly security focused environment. 3. Other duties as assigned. WORK ENVIRONMENT This job operates in a professional office environment; Currently hybrid remote and in office.
