UX/UI Designer

Location: New York City, NY Salary: $55/hr Description:

• You will contribute to the effective design and specification of user flows, prototypes, high-fidelity user interfaces and information architecture using participatory and iterative design techniques

• You will work with the development team to implement designs

• You will support the collaboration with external strategic partners and partner with other designers, project managers, engineers, business owners, content strategists and software developers to help create cohesive experiences

• You will apply best practices across touchpoints to ensure that design specifications are implemented within set timelines and budgets

• 7 - 9 years of UX for digital products, including responsive web design and user feedback best practices
• Strong knowledge of user experience design processes and methodology, and collaboration with agile development teams
• Experience and comfort delivering user interface (UI) documentation is required
• Experience working within and designing for digital design systems and brand guidelines
• Knowledge of the capabilities and limitations of Web technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript and CSS, and an understanding of the technical implications of your design recommendations is required
• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Adobe XD and Sketch with a willingness to explore new tools
