If you are interested, send your resume to Danny at Job Summary: The role of the Senior Program Manager with in Insurance & Client Advocacy has responsibility for overall efficiency and effective operation of the function and projects (scope, schedule, and communication) impacting the function. Budget management, organizational change, communication, and reporting are aspects included in functional operation. PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accountable for driving specific aspects of a larger program with medium complexity.
  • Makes connections across teams to drive identification and managing of inter-dependencies.
  • Accountable for defining the program structure and crafting a single, unified plan to deliver on the program objectives.
  • Strives for transparency on objectives, priorities and measures.
  • Accountable for identifying, assessing and mitigating program risks and issues, and removing impediments.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
  • Proficient/Advanced in Microsoft Suites (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Minimum 6 years of professional experience.
  • Six or more years of project management experience in technology and/or business functions. Experience with project management methodologies or SDLC (systems development life cycle)
  • Experience with project management methodologies & SDLC. Proven understanding of project management / agile tooling.
  • Understands how software is developed, tested and implemented as well as technical concepts.
  • Ability to work closely with engineers, product managers and business leaders.
  • Experience managing large scale, cross-functional initiatives using a variety of delivery methodologies (i.e. waterfall, agile, lean, scrum, etc.)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Intellectual curiosity and a desire to dig into details, learn, ask questions and become the "go to expert" on certain concepts and topics.
  • Leads highly transparent multidisciplinary project teams or initiatives; provides thought leadership
  • Solves challenging problems with broad impact on the business; requires conceptual and innovative thinking to develop solutions.
  • Impacts the direction and prioritization for programs, project or services; works within general department policies and industry guidelines.
  • Explains difficult or critical information; works to build consensus
NICE TO HAVE'S:
  • Exposure to Microsoft Project.
  • Professional experience with Jira/Jira Align/Slack.
  • Experience with SAFe or Agile Project Management.
