This position is 100% remote Are you passionate about user-centered design? Do you love to understand customers - their mindsets, perceptions, needs, and motivations? The successful candidate will be involved in every step of the design process, from project definition and discovery to user testing and working with engineering to build experiences that delight our members. Here, you will play a critical role in uncovering key insights and translating them into actionable recommendations for the product, bridging the gap between research and design.

Responsibilities:• Leads a hypothesis-driven approach to solve the needs and cater to the behavior of member by iterating through the entire design and development cycle.• Keeps the voice of the member in the forefront by leading and participating in a regular pace of qualitative studies.• Delivers compelling presentations of research findings.• Defines and communicates our design language and design system including patterns, frameworks, components, micro interactions, layouts and more.• Partners with cross-functional team members in the execution and delivery of successful products and services, using a member-focused, iterative design process.• Leverages and fosters the use of established UX techniques, templates, presentations, and assets in the creation of UX analysis, solutions and materials.• Contributes to the creation of high-quality deliverables on a work stream with minimal oversight and guidance, managing one’s work to a larger schedule.

Qualifications-all required unless otherwise noted:• Bachelor’s Degree in the study of design including one of the following: Design, Information Architecture, Human Factors or equivalent project/portfolio experience.• 5+ years of product design experience with an accompanying portfolio.• Experience conducting user research and integrating that into product designs and design practices.• Experience with web analytics and a general awareness of technology mediums (JavaScript, HTML/CSS, platform UIs, etc.) including differences between them.• Ability to go beyond the data to develop user insights and distill them into actionable outcomes.• Passion and curiosity to constantly learn new things.• History of establishing great relationships with other teams.An Equal Opportunity Employer.
