This is a unique role that combines sales, product management, project management and key account/relationship management skills to achieve sales growth targets. You will do so by:

Designing and executing strategies that are aligned with sales growth targets.

Creating and implementing marketing and merchandising strategies designed to grow market share.

Establishing and achieving key metrics for product category specific growth targets.

Implementing product knowledge, and demonstrating training for internal and customer merchandising executive teams.

Partnering with a broader Sales team, however utilizing strong project management skills, with a constant focus on relationship management and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

As Category Coordinator, you will work closely in a team environment, and must be based out of the Atlanta office.

You can anticipate travel of around 20-40%, with much of this travel within Atlanta. There will also be some travel outside of the region as business demands.

Bachelor's Degree in Business/Marketing or related field is required.

You have a proven ability to apply a broad knowledge of sales and marketing strategies for multiple channels.

You are customer-centric, always seeking total customer satisfaction.

You can leverage demonstrable compelling communication with corporate staff, the Sales organization and customers.

Proven excellence in development of key metrics and goal setting, with a financial acumen, is essential.

You have a track record of successful product launches.

Ability to apply theories on business development and structural creation.

Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Skype, etc).
