Location: New Haven, CT or Long Island (Bohemia) Overview We're seeking an Epicor Operations software implementation engineer with demonstrated experience across order management, planning, manufacturing, warehouse, shipping, etc. Responsibilities
- Participate in consulting engagements and assume responsibility for performing implementation tasks and producing quality deliverables
- Partner with Lead Consultant to understand the customer's business requirements and translate those needs into solutions.
- Assist project lead to organize and control tasks within the work plan and demonstrate the ability to lead small project teams or small engagements
- Work with business owners to implement, customize, and provide technical infrastructure services
- Tests and troubleshoots system for customer, providing initial level of support with issue resolution
- Maintain Epicor setup tables in order to configure system behavior to meet agreed solution design for the site.
- Provide ERP module training for customer
- Assist customer with data migration
- Write functional specifications for enhancements, integrations and reports
- Ability to perform work plans, identify resource requirements, establish priorities for available resources and monitor the performance of project tasks
- Ensure that project deliverables are completed on time and anticipate issues or conditions that may impact the original estimate or project budget
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Computer Applications or equivalent work experience
- Prior experience working with ERP EPICOR software is REQUIRED (Epicor 9,10)
- ERP Implementation - preferably end to end
- Experience in assisting customers implement Best Practice Processes
- Consulting background and Epicor certifications a bonus
- Experience working in manufacturing or distribution sectors mandatory
- Strong communication skills, Team player, Project management skills, Independent
- Location: Northeast, USA (CT and/or Long Island)
