ResponsibilitiesSkills Requirements:• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical/analytical field• 5 years of overall data management, data governance and/or metadata management experience• Demonstrated experience in implementing data cataloguing projects• Working knowledge of Alation and other industry standard data cataloguing tools• Ability to develop and deploy management process associated with metadata quality in the repository• Ability to convey complex Data Management concepts in business-friendly terms to non-technical stakeholders• Understanding of data governance and metadata management principles such as Lineage, Profiling, Business Glossary, Data Dictionary, etc• Experience in multi-disciplinary teams to normalize data and develop companywide policies around data, classifications, and controlled vocabularies• Experience with large/ corporate-wide initiatives surrounding Taxonomy, Ontology, and Governance• Ability to direct development of standards around how key data elements are named, categorized, tracked, and managed to serve as single source of 'truth'• Knowledge of SQL and API concepts• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills - communication is key• Experience using the Agile methodology• Ability to solve problems and resolve issues independently• Excellent command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)• Ability to work collaboratively and individually while maintaining customer focusQualificationsNice to Have:• Master's degree in computer science or related• Experience working with cloud infrastructure services like Azura and Amazon Web Services• Knowledge of SQL• Knowledge of BI Tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)• Relevant professional certifications• Prior consulting experience• Business development experience Additional RequirementsThe successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described.Due to our contractual requirements and federal orders, including an Executive Order from the White House and an emergency regulation from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the position for which you are applying requires that you provide proof of your vaccination status.
