Our Mission, Vision, and Values guide the way we do business.Are your ready for your next challenge?We are in search for a Computer Network Defense (CND) Security Engineer - Active TS/SCI Required to work at our customer site at the National Maritime Intelligence Center, Suitland, MD. In this role you will provide specialized Cyber Security and Information Technology (IT) support for IT resources and users, underpinning Scientific and Technical Intelligence (S&TI) analysis and production across the Farragut Technical Analysis Center at the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI). THE MISSIONTo support the creation and maintenance of system Authority to Operate (ATO) designations for all IT assets in TAC, which includes standard and specialized computer systems, commercial and government applications, and specialized mission equipment, applications and software. If this sounds like the kind of environment where you can thrive, keep reading!THE CHALLENGE (Primary Responsibilities)•Recommend and ensure TAC Mission Systems are in full compliance with all applicable security accreditation or authorization requirements and best practices as prescribed by Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), Department of Defense (DoD), Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), Navy, and Naval Intelligence Activity (NIA), and ONI authorities.•Conduct and report results of security-related analyses, evaluations, risk assessments, and other activities supporting requirements to update or establish new Mission Systems or Mission Applications requested by TAC Functional Lead(s). •As the CND SME, attend Cybersecurity policy implementation meetings and briefings, and develop, provide, and deliver technical, operator, and customer training and briefings. •Ensure identified specialized IT systems in Farragut comply with appropriate IT security Assessment and Authorization (A&A) requirements and best practices as prescribed by Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), DoD, Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), and local authorities. •Create, modify and perform automated security scans, using Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) compliant current or emerging automated tools such as DISA Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS); Windows Automated Security Scanning Program (WASSP); Security Scanner (SECSCN); and the CIS Benchmark. •Ensure TAC Firewall, Intrusion Protection and Intrusion Detection Systems are configured, operational and maintained in accordance with ATO requirements and cyber security policies and standards. •Coordinate across multiple teams (internal and external) and influence Farragut leadership regarding solution design, process and/or approaches to ensuring all TAC Mission systems are compliant, up-to-date, working efficiently and ensure all mission requirements are met.WHAT SETS YOU APART (minimum job qualifications)-Active TS/SCI-CompTIA Security+ ce -Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification-BS/BA IA, CS or equivalent with 8+ years of related work experience. Additional years of related work experience considered in lieu of degree -Demonstrated experience with HBSS and deploying new McAfee policies to the environment-Experience with setup, implementation and management of firewalls, Network IPS, & a Network HIDS.Pay Range:
