Job DetailsEssential Responsibilities
  • The core responsibility is to oversee high-level tasking and scheduling across multiple technical teams in IT operations and development environment.
  • Must develop detailed project plans for monitoring and tracking the progress of numerous complex IT projects.
  • Provide periodic updates or status reports to the Supervisor or System & Technology Management when requested.
  • Responsible for coordinating internal resources for timely execution of tasks across multiple teams.
  • Will perform risk management to identify and minimize project risks.
  • Manage changes to scope, schedule, and cost.
  • Responsible for measuring and reporting project performance, status and issues.
  • Provide time and resource estimates for IT hosting projects.
  • Responsible for facilitating progress meetings to review project tasks across teams.
  • Work with contractors and technical teams, SMEs, and business units to accept ownership and tasking required for complete IT projects.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Maintain professional relations with the Premier user community and outside vendors while providing courteous service with strong follow-up and commitment to problem resolution.

Required Education/Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent
  • Seven years of full life cycle of software engineering experience as a project manager, lead, or senior level IT technical resource (Software Engineer, System Administrator)
  • Thorough understanding of computer systems & BCP/DR recovery planning.
  • Proven leadership, management, and motivational skills; ability to inspire others to achieve excellence
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize effectively, working in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in creating, coordinating, and tracking detailed complex IT project schedules and tasking required
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with MS Project required
