TITLE: Software Delivery Optimization Engineer Location: Fairfield, CT This role is part of the Software Delivery Optimization Engineering team, with broader impact across all engineering products and internal team experiences. As the Software Delivery Optimization Engineer, you will work in an agile, collaborative environment to develop and maintain systems/processes, which may include improving software installations/upgrades and accelerating code delivery by working with Development & Quality Testing teams enabling efficient CI/CD process.What You'll Do: Optimize tools and processes supporting SDLC environments in following areas:

  • CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery)
  • Build implementation & automation.
  • Source-code change & review management.
  • Static code & code vulnerability analysis.
  • Test management.
  • Tool integration & automation.
Skills / Experience You Will Need: Essential:
  • 1-3 years in SDLC tools and process automation.
  • Basic knowledge/experience in Linux fundamentals and scripting.
  • Knowledge/Experience in CI/CD process set up (Jira, Git, Jenkins)
  • Knowledge/Experience in Build tools (Ant, Gradle, make, npm).
  • Experience in scripting/programming in Shell, Python and/or Java
Desirable:
  • Experience or knowledge of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, buildah, podman).
  • Experience or knowledge of virtualization (VMware).
