Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Project Manager for a Contract assignment with one of our premier Financial Services clients in Chesterbrook, PA. Responsibilities :
- Participate in the review and analysis of workflows, cost reports, market data, trade life cycles, evaluate policies and procedures, prepare and document surveys, lead interviews, observe the allocation of time to value added tasks by each team and analyze existing management tools.
- Prepare a qualitative and quantitative analysis of data in order to identify areas for cost improvement and efficiency opportunities.
- Make recommendations and then drive initiatives around critical elements of cost and efficiency optimization and contribute to the integration of long-term work plans to ensure change sustainability across all Global Market product lines.
- Take ownership of project deliverables against agreed scope, budget and timeline. Ensure all project status are accurate, informative and timely, and directly provide progress reports.
- Manage the change process within the scope of the project
- Analyze and understand business issues and initiatives, working with the project sponsor to create effective solutions.
- Utilize governance and reporting standards
- Lead effectively the financials/benefits management of each project
- identify, manage and resolve project-level risks, dependencies and issues
- Work with third-party vendors where necessary to deliver required products
- Undertake post-implementation reviews and implement lessons learned
- Flexible, enthusiastic and hands-on approach
- Creativity, open-minded and proactive in the promotion of new ideas
- Strong capacity to interact with front office staff and functional partners, managers and business committee members.
- Proven ability to work autonomously
- Agile thinker and prepared to challenge conventional thinking and support colleagues to have a strong mindset to deliver change
- Be an ambassador of GM Transformation Team throughout the organization and champion of project management best practices
- Bachelor's degree or greater in relevant field
- 5+ years of related experience as a PM
- Language: Excellent fluency in English
- Technical Skills: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Powerpoint, Microsoft Word, VBA, Visio
- Knowledge of budget processes, financial forecasting, and ability to execute financial trend analysis.
- Ability to visualize, articulate, conceptualize or solve both complex and uncomplicated problems by making decisions that are sensible given the available information. Take data and use it to drive insightful decisions.
- Strong capacity to analyze issues in a logical and structured way, prioritize and focus on issues depending on potential impact
