Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is currently seeking an F-22 Associate Software Engineer (Level 2) to join the F-22 Missions Systems team located in Berkeley, MO or Richardson, TX. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization.This organization designs, develops, and demonstrates avionics solutions for the F-22 Raptor, the premier 5th gen air superiority fighter flown only by the United States Air Force (USAF). Your role will require you to work as a member of a cross-functional agile team to integrate cutting edge technologies to maintain the Raptor's dominance over the battlefield for many decades to come.Position Responsibilities:
- Develops, documents and maintains architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems
- Develops and maintains code and integrates software components into a fully functional software system
- Develops software verification plans, test procedures and test environments, executes test procedures and documents test results to ensure software system requirements are met
- Supports software project management and software supplier management functions
- Supports generation and maintenance of software processes, tools and metrics
- Troubleshoots software issues
- Works under general supervision
- Ability to obtain an Interim Secret Clearance (Pre-Start)
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical degree
- Classroom or work-related experience programming in one or more of the following development languages: Ada, C, C, C#, JAVA, Python
- Ability to work in a multi-tasking environment while supporting multiple concurrent activities
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Ability to obtain special program access
- Experience programming in C or Ada
- Experience developing embedded real-time software
- Experience with Agile software development
- Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and 1 or more years' related work experience
- In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard
