A services organization in New Jersey is currently seeking an experienced IT professional to join their staff as their new IT Collaboration & Content Specialist. In this role, the IT Collaboration & Content Specialist will be responsible for driving the planning, implementation, development, and support of our organization's content management and collaboration platforms, with an emphasis on Microsoft SharePoint and Teams.

Responsibilities: The IT Collaboration & Content Specialist:
  • Drives the planning and execution of tasks leveraging SharePoint Online in support of Record Management and Content Management initiatives
  • Develops workflows and apps using MS Power Apps and Power Automate in support of Record Management and Content Management initiatives that leverage SharePoint
  • Participates in requirements gathering, investigating potential solutions, analyzing impact, communicating with highly technical and non-technical stakeholders, and developing solutions that rely on SharePoint Online, MS Teams, and Power Platform
  • Develops and maintains operational reports and KPI's for MS Teams and SharePoint Online
  • Generates, tests, and documents integration and program code. Debugs and resolves moderate to complex integration problems
  • Collaborates with architects and COEs to establish, maintain, and integrate roadmaps of SharePoint Online, MS Teams, Power Platform, and supporting components
  • Collaborates with architects to establish best practices and ensure adherence to patterns and standards
  • Identifies new areas and business processes where SharePoint Online, MS Teams, and Power Platforms can be leveraged and facilitate continuous process improvement
  • Authors and maintains technical documentation, training materials, and user guides as applicable
  • Performs other duties, as needed

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience as an Analyst and/or Programmer
  • College Degree
  • Hands-on experience working with cloud-based productivity suites, including SharePoint Online, MS Teams, and OneDrive
  • Expert knowledge of SharePoint Online and other Office 365 technologies (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, MS Teams, and OneDrive)
  • Experience with deployment and troubleshooting of MS Teams; developing and supporting integrations and hosted applications
  • Experience with analysis and execution of SharePoint migrations from on-premises to online and SharePoint Modern site capabilities
  • Experience supporting legacy SharePoint areas such as classic sites, farm solutions, and other server-side technologies
  • Working knowledge of PowerShell
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized

Desired Skills:
  • College Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Science, Business Administration or related field
  • Hands-on experience administering SharePoint 2016 and 2019
  • Hands-on experience with Record Management solutions
