We are looking for a new member for our platform development team who will be responsible for improvements and maintenance of our platform components throughout all phases of our development lifecycle. This platform is the engine that powers our customers' clinical decision tree workflows. As developers grow in this role, opportunities exist to move into team management and architecture roles.Responsible for full delivery of end to end system development and maintenance on medium Enterprise wide technology platforms. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with business in translating abstract requirements to tangible technical solutions.
  • Solving complex technical software problems by providing code changes and patch releases.
  • Review existing application code to analyze and identify issues and collaborate with software development team to identify and determine the best course of action to resolve the issue.
  • Identify opportunities to automate and improve development processes.
  • Collaborate with operations team and software configuration Management during the deployment and development of software applications
  • Maintains active relationships with customers to determine business requirements and leads requirements gathering meetings.
  • May implement improvements in stability, performance, and scalability across major business-critical systems.
  • May implement process to reduce barriers and roadblocks in projects, services, and processes in order to operate more efficiently.
  • Owns the change request process and coordinates with other teams as necessary.
  • Develops and defines application scope and objectives and supervises the preparation of technical and/or functional specifications from with programs will be written.
  • Performs technical design reviews and code reviews.
  • Ensures unit test is completed and meets the test plan requirements, system testing is completed and system is implemented according to plan.
  • Responsible for delivery of application technology solutions and data information planning effort.
  • Leads multiple or large projects and facilitates large group JAD sessions for requirements, modeling in several disciplines.
Qualifications Required Qualifications
  • Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 5 years related experience; multi platform, multi-dimensional experience, and expert level experience with business and technical applications; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Minimum 2 years Angular 2+ or Java 11+
