Senior Oracle DBA - Remote

The ideal candidate will have both the skills of a Sr DBA as well as the skills to troubleshoot and identify reoccurring issues and address systemically thruough Configuration Management. The candidate will also automate repetitive tasks such as DBMS deployments, DMLs, DDLs, and user access management. Mandatory DBA Skills:
- 7+ years overall IT experience, with 3+ years on Oracle 12c/19c.
- Well versed in database performance tuning, especially SQL tuning.
- Firm understanding of general HA/replication concepts and architecture.
- Firm understanding of sharding concepts.
- Proficient in RMAN backup and recovery.
- Oracle OEM
- 24x7 production support experience.
- Worked with large databases in TB.
- Real Application Cluster RAC environments.
- MySQL 5.5 / MariaDB 10 and above
- MySQL/MariaDB Galera Clusters
- Experience with Automation / Configuration Management tools like Salt
- Proficient in one or more script and/or development language with DBA Automation
- Proficient in managing code in code repositories like Git/Git Lab
- Experience in writing stored procedures and scripting
- Unix/Linux batch (bash) file scripting
