Job Description A PaaS company is growing their backend/API team with a Senior Java Developer. Their platform allows healthcare entities, professionals, and patients to communicate in a secure and compliant manner while automating data and information needed for that conversation. This can be in the form of a web portal, texting, etc. With over 100 technical partners, their backend team will not only be developing new features in Java, but also integrating REST APIs with third parties. Therefore, this person should have strong API experience, as well as multithreading and database experience. This is a fully remote position that will offer competitive, stock options, and comprehensive benefits. This is a great opportunity to join a team that will also be eventually transforming into a cloud environment using Amazon Web Services. This role will own several components of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including deployment and some testing making a well-rounded engineer and challenging skill sets in new areas. - Senior-level experience with Java
- Ability to build and consume REST APIs
- Multithreading experience
- MySQL, Postgres, or SQL experience
- Excellent written and oral communication
- AWS experience
- CICD experience (Docker and/or Jenkins)
- Architectural work
