Manager of UX/Long Term Contract/New Jersey

This notable pharmaceutical company is hiring a Manager of UX on a long-term contract in their End User Services team that is helping all the internal employees with various user journeys as employees navigate the various end user services. This is for everything from onboarding as a new employee to changing benefits, to scheduling meetings and other internal needs. The Manager of UX will be hands on by executing studies to discover user needs and experiences on various products, using organizational change management frameworks to shape the processes, and utilize analytics to measure responses to behavioral change programs. You will lead a team of 3 other designers and be responsible for continuing to build the team. This role is a hybrid position in Raritan, NJ where your end users will be located. Travel into the office will be about 1-2x/week depending on meetings and your research studies. Required Skills & Experience

• 5-8+ years of Product Design experience, UX, User Experience Design, CX
• 1-2+ years of Leadership experience, mentoring junior designers, code reviews, recruiting new team members
• Strong knowledge of UX best practices
• Ability to perform and lead user research studies
• Solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD), planning, conducting user research, user testing, etc.
• A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, contextual inquiries
• Concerned about Accessibility and addressing those with design
• Strong collaboration and project management skills
• Lives a commutable distance to the Raritan, NJ office
• Working knowledge of internal systems and tools specifically Microsoft 365 and SharePoint

• Degree in UX, HCI, Graphic/Visual Design, Computer Science, etc.
• Local to Philadelphia or South Jersey or the East Coast is preferred
• Capable of handling multiple projects at once

• Competitive Pay Rate: Up to $100/hr. on W-2
• Contract Duration: Through December 31st, 2022
