Overview

  • This position provides complex technical support to data processing systems through enhancement of related software and processes. Develops software and procedures that improve processing capabilities. Analyzes, codes, tests, and implements in coordination with management, associates, and end users. Serves as production system support by resolving issues and ensuring ongoing functionality. May oversee the work of less experienced analysts or assist in special projects as needed.
Responsibilities
  • System Enhancement - Performs a variety of actions that evaluate and improve department systems, processes, and applications. Utilizes programming specifications to construct modules, develop testing methods, and design materials. Provides new feature time estimates for system changes and assists in implementing modifications. Executes test plans to validate application functions as designed.
  • Analysis - Collects data related to user requests and determines scope, time estimates, and system impacts. Inspects business specifications, programming specifications, coding, test plans, documentation, and implementation plans for accuracy.
  • Business Support - Provides technical support to production systems by addressing reported issues, anticipating maintenance requirements, and ensuring functionality for end user needs. Drafts documentation to be used for system, end user, and operational purposes, including technical specifications and application designs.
  • Technical Expertise - Responsible for complex involvement in the software development life cycle including the creation, enhancement, implementation, and evaluation of software. Serves as a technical resource for management, associates, and business units.
  • On-call Support - Provides 24/7 on-call support via rotations.

The Day-to-Day:
  • Develop application enhancements and integrations in the SailPoint application to support departmental and company goals
  • Implement Identity Management system automation and audit workflows in SailPoint and other applications
  • Provide technical experience automating processes related to Identity Management and Risk Analysis
  • Work with internal clients and external technical resources for application integrations
  • Design upgrades of existing security infrastructure
  • Develop automated tests to improve continuous integration and deployment processes in Test Complete and other tools
QualificationsBachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Software application development and maintenance OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Software application development and maintenance

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in Java programming, with preferential experience in Java BeanShell
  • 2+ years of experience developing software using AuthN / AuthZ protocols
  • 1+ year of experience developing applications including SaaS and PaaS integrations
  • BS degree in computer science, Information Security, or related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Java BeanShell/JavaScript, JSP/Servlets, SQL skills
  • Develop Sailpoint IdentityIQ connectors as needed.
  • Experience with PowerShell and IAM protocols (SAML, OAuth, SCIM, and Openid Connect)
  • Web Technologies experience in XML, SQL and a J2EE / Java EE 5 Application Server such as Tomcat, WebSphere, or WebLogic.
  • Familiarity with programming and web technologies such as Java / BeanShell, JavaScript, SPML/SOAP, JSF, and Log4j.
  • Automated testing software configuration
  • HTML and CSS experience
  • Strong experience with APIs and WebServices integrations
  • Development and some day-to-day operations of the Identity processes supported by the Sailpoint products.
  • Hands on experience developing BeanShell scripts/rules
  • Participate in and/or lead user acceptance testing and bug-related engineering efforts.
  • Strong thought leadership, envisioning and Solutioning skills, with an ability to draw big picture at the same time able to detail on lower level functional issues
