Transforming healthcare and millions of lives as a result starts with the values you embrace and the passion you bring to achieve your life’s best work.(sm)The Patient Services Representative is responsible for scheduling patients, coordinating schedules with PCP offices, collecting and distributing test results and ensuring a professional and courteous environment in supporting physician offices and staff.Primary Responsibilities:

Greets patients and providers via mobile team helpdesk

Answers phones and schedules screening appointments for patients and physicians using scheduling system

Assists providers with distribution of medical results from mobile team screening clinics

Interacts with patients and providers via phone and provides accurate, timely and responsive information about the mobile team processes

Coordinates health screening clinics and routes all paperwork as required to meet physician and quality clinic process requirements

Arranges transportation to and from health screening clinics

Ensures efficient telephone communication with patients and providers

Must be able to recognize and respond appropriately to priority situations by transferring calls to provider, supervisor, or mobile team staff

Establish and maintains effective working relationships with physicians, staff and other departments

Follows written protocols and procedures of mobile team

Documents work processes effectively and as required by procedure

Demonstrates courtesy and willingness to assist towards patients and their families

Manages medical records (maintains, files/scans, prepares for schedule)

Ensures all correspondence is scanned and/or filed in timely manner

Performs all other related duties as assigned

This position is a major part to the “ Mobile Clinic Team ”The main office is located near NE Loop 410 / Near McCullough St.You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:

High school graduate or GED

1+ year of related work experience including data entry

Working knowledge of medical office procedures and medical terminology

Ability to accurately sort and file materials by alphabetic or numeric systems

Effective communication and customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications:

ICD 9 and CPT coding experience
