The Senior Product Manager will be the direct liaison between TPG and consumer focused business partners across company brands and supports the continuous roadmap evolution & maturity for consumer marketing platforms (e.g., marketing, customer service, retention, loyalty etc.) at company. The Senior Product Manager will collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate business needs into technical product requirements, and work with engineering team(s) to build and deliver world-class technology solutions. Will also partner with other product managers, business analysts, engineering teams as well as external partners to drive end-to-end execution and enable business value through technology. This role typically works on several projects at a time as a leading member of each project team.Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities of the Job:• Understand marketing and consumer engagement strategies of company brands, and help translate business strategies into technical capabilities and product roadmaps• Drive the business to continuously define a vision and roadmap for marketing technology platforms (CDP (Consumer Data Platform), ESP, Campaign Management, Loyalty, AdTech stack, and Marketing Analytics)• Product management through entire lifecycle, including story gathering, defining done, building for outcomes, reporting on effectiveness through analysis & financial management.• Partner with engineering and business stakeholders to evaluate technology platforms and make build / buy / partner recommendations• Provide project management and technical leadership, coaching and mentoring to team members• Work closely with business product owner(s) to create and maintain a product backlog and prioritize according to business value or ROI• Take ownership of assigned scrum teams, and play an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful completion of release/sprint goals• Focuses the engineering teams and business owners toward business value and outcome-based development• Leads feedback sessions with product, engineering and business teams to continuously evolve team processes and performance• Report on team velocity, value and project status regularly to senior stakeholders across company• Craft and deliver presentations on potential new capabilities and enhancements for owned products• Run demos, presentations, and stand-ups specific to your initiatives to keep alignment with all contributing stakeholders• Utilize and stay current with modern platforms and methods• Review test plans and lead UAT to ensure business capability requirements and timelines are met• Conduct feedback sessions with engineering and business teams to continuously evolve team processes and performanceExperience:• 7+ years of experience with Digital Marketing ecosystems in the Retail Industry• 5+ years of experience working in a product management, technical product owner or similar capacity• Strong experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver marketing technology solutions or digital products using agile methodology• Experience working in a matrix environment and ability to lead teams through influence• Demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives• Experience partnering with customer service teams and delivering case management and customer service platformsEducation:• Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, or a related field (Graduate degree in Business Management or related field preferred)Skills:Specific skills required for this role include:• In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles as well as Waterfall project management• Deep understanding of the customer centric Product Mindset• Team leadership and coaching• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to drive actions• Ability to clearly communicate the business requirements to engineering teams• Excellent written and verbal communications skills, and presentation skills• Proven ability to influence decision making at all levels within an organization• Proficiency in Martech stack including Salesforce Service Cloud and Salesforce Marketing Cloud along with Salesforce Commerce Cloud is highly desirable• Experience dealing with Customer data, PII, and Compliance including PCI, GDPR, CCPA etc.is strong preferred• Understanding of technologies and products in Marketing Technology space including consumer data platforms (CDP), campaign management, CRM, email service providers (ESPs), data management platforms (DMPs), Loyalty platforms etc.
