Find your future with us.The Boeing Global Services (BGS) organization is seeking a KC-46 Support and Training - Development and Support to Production Program Manager (Level M) to join a One Boeing team dedicated to development, production, operations, and maintenance of the KC-46 Pegasus for the USAF and global allies. This team member will lead development of sustainment products and services for new KC-46 technology insertions, modernization, and improvements. These configuration changes include Remote Vision System 2.0, Aerial Refueling improvements, and Block I technology insertions. The Program Manager will also lead support to production aircraft lots and base standup. Additionally, the Program Manager will develop key customer and supplier relationships.The Development and Support to Production Program Manager will report to the Director of KC-46 Support and Training and will be accountable to the KC-46 Program Management team.Position ResponsibilitiesDuties will include (but are not limited to):
- Manages employees and mid-level managers performing business management activities in the area of Program Management
- Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
- Manages, develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers
- 1+ years of experience in program or project management
- 5+ years of experience in implementation of Program Management Best Practices (PMBP), Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and Lean+/10X
- 3+ years' experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal leadership role
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Experience with USAF acquisition and execution of USAF contracts
- Experience with Integrated Product Support
- Understanding of Boeing supply chain and engineering processes
- Experience with aircraft operations and maintenance
