HOURS FOR THIS POSITION ARE 12 NOON TO 8 PM OR 11 AM TO 7 PMMUST BE CERTIFIED FOR FORKLIFT / NARROW AISLE/ STOCK PICKERMUST HAVE RECENT MANUFACTURING EXPERIENCE OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION:Performs functions to plan, coordinate, control and direct activities involving the pulling and re-stocking inventory in support of daily production operations.RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION:

Provides direction, development and leadership to all direct reports ensuring effective employee relations.

Provides associate coaching and development and resolves associate issues through problem resolution.

Direct and manage direct reports to ensure operational goals and objectives are met and accomplished in a timely and cost effective manner.

Balances quality, productivity, cost, safety, morale, orderliness and improvements in order to achieve positive results in all areas.

Oversees the accomplishment of assigned tasks.

Maintains existing and/or added departmental areas and equipment with regards to 5S principles and preventive maintenance schedules. This includes replacement proposals as needed.

Responsible for the day-to-day operational leadership for all shifts scheduled within the department.

Responsible for ensuring payroll and time sheets are completed and submitted on-time and for ensuring the PTO Tracker is maintained for all departmental associates.

Responsible for ensuring the development of all new and existing associates.

Administers and participates in development of company policies as needed.

Responsible for coordinating and/or preparing performance reviews for all departmental associates.

Expected to work any/all hours required to accomplish all listed duties and responsibilities.

Supports and assists the Logistics and Warehouse Manager in developing and maintaining departmental metrics including tracking and communicating results.

Expected to work with other departments to ensure overall plant and company objectives are achieved.

Responsible for providing the right inventory to the right locations at the right time to support Modular and Fabric production operations.

Responsible for re-stocking inventory to the right locations in a timely manner.

Responsible utilization, orderliness and maintenance of all storage systems and racks.

Responsible for maintaining all assigned PITs (powered industrial truck) in good and safe working order.

Responsible for facility PIT program.

Responsible for keeping work areas in a high state of cleanliness.

Identifying root cause for process failures. Developing countermeasures to prevent future discrepancies and ensuring transactional errors are corrected in a timely manner.

Preferred ? Bachelor?s Degree in Logistics, Material Management or equivalent

Preferred ? Minimum of 5 ? 7 years experience in manufacturing/production

Preferred ? Minimum of 5 years experience in a leadership role

Preferred ? Experience with Logistics, Material Management and Inventory

Preferred ? High competency with process improvement

Preferred ? High Competency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Inventory Management Systems

Preferred ? Experience with EPICOR
