One Health is seeking a Human Resources Manager for our new Wyoming site, opening soon in historic downtown Sheridan.

As a Human Resources Manager, you'll be responsible for performing human resources (HR) related duties on a professional level and manages all HR related tasks at appointed site(s). This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: affirmative action, benefits administration, compensation, employee relations, employment, employment law compliance, offboarding, onboarding, performance management, policy implementation, recruitment, and training.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides coaching, leadership and support to managers and employees regarding Human Resources policies, procedures, programs, questions, and concerns.
  • Leads and manages all employment practices which include recruitment, orientation, recognition, promotions, transfers, terminations, and offboarding.
  • Administers various human resources plans and procedures for all personnel at assigned site(s).
  • Assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures.
  • Ensures job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Develops training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities.
  • Administers the compensation program; analyzes wage and salary reports and data to determine competitive compensation plan.
  • Monitors the performance evaluation program; reviews performance evaluations for appropriate language; compiles and analyzes performance data for reporting.
  • Investigates employee issues and conflicts and brings them to resolution.
  • Participates in employee disciplinary and/or counseling meetings with supervisors; reviews/provides feedback on disciplinary documents and performance improvement plans as necessary.
  • Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations counseling/issues, and outplacement counseling.
  • Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars.
  • Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.
  • Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of HR department in relation to established goals.
  • Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvement in efficiency of the department and services performed.
  • Coordinates management training in interviewing, hiring, termination, promotions, performance reviews, safety, and sexual harassment.
  • Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment and personnel records.
  • Assists in coordination of employee recognition program, including events.
  • Works in a team environment with other HR managers at other sites/locations.
  • Adheres to all One Health Policies and Procedures.
  • Participates in performance optimization and risk management activities as required.
  • Cooperates and abides by all elements of One Health’s Compliance Program.
  • Provides exceptional customer service and models the mission of One Health when interacting with internal and external stakeholders promoting a positive image for the health center.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required with or without prior notification.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Certifications:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, health administration, humanities, or another related field
  • Valid driver’s license

Preferred

  • Master’s degree
  • SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) Certification or HRCI Certification

Experience:

Required

  • Three (3) years’ experience in human resources
  • Three (3) years’ of experience in direct supervision of employees
  • Demonstrated familiarity with state and federal employment law

Preferred

  • Supervisory experience
