Our patented Java-based platform processes billions of transactions per month in tens of milliseconds using a multi-tiered, message-oriented approach for high performance and availability.MasterCard software engineering teams leverage Agile development principles, advanced development, design and test automation practices, and an obsession over security, reliability, and performance to deliver solutions that delight our customers. We're looking for talented Software Testing Engineers to design and develop regression and integration test automation for fraud applications using advanced technologies that are revolutionizing payments. Play a crucial part in a technical test role to help drive Quality and to build, implement and execute tests, automation improvements and reporting for our regression release cycle. Expand our existing test automation framework and test coverage. Collaborate closely with other quality engineering teams to enhance existing software testing processes. Partner with integration testers and organization SETs (Software Engineers in Test) to improve and automate test and release processes. Work closely with software developers on the team on assigned projects to assist in implementation tasks. Help make Quality an integral part of the development process. Assist with production support issues by acting as a subject matter expert in resolving incidents and problem tickets. Be an integral part of the Agile SAFe discover and elaboration sessions. Communicate, collaborate, and work effectively in a global environment.All About You Prior software development experience, particularly using Java Experience in core Java programming for test automation and the ability to identify, write and execute automated tests. Have knowledge and skills in test fundamentals and methodologies. Can understand complex systems and to identify and design automated and manual test scenarios to strengthen existing test coverage. Be skilled at explaining technical problems succinctly and clearly. Test analysis and reporting ability. Be experienced in working with development and release teams. Familiarity with a variety of architectural patterns including multi-tiered web applications and high performance, high availability transaction processing systems Must provide the necessary skills to have a high degree of initiative and self-motivation to drive results. Possesses strong communication skills both verbal and written – and strong relationship, collaborative skills, and organizational skills. Willingness and ability to learn quickly and take on challenging opportunities and to work as a member of matrix based diverse and geographically distributed project team. Knowledge of software development processes including agile processes and test-driven development Must be high-energy, detail-oriented, proactive and can function under pressure in an independent environment. Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience.Essential Skills required: Experience in Core Java Programming Experience with Continuous Integration systems (e.g., Jenkins) Knowledge of Splunk, creating dashboards, alerts/monitors. Oracle & PL/SQL and advanced SQL scripting IDE such as JBoss Developer Studio/IntelliJDesirable Skills: Knowledge of Distributed Computing at scale Knowledge of Splunk and dashboard creation Experience using tools such Putty, WinSCP, Toad, Postman etc.COVID-19 ConsiderationsWe value the safety of each member of our community because we know we’re all in this together.
