Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is seeking an Senior Cloud Security Engineer based out of either Hazelwood MO, Alexandria VA, Colorado Springs CO, Costa Mesa CA, El Segundo CA, Huntington Beach CA, or Huntsville AL.The Product Security Engineering is supporting the Boeing Enterprise DevSecOps transformation across our business units by securing software engineering environments and factories, supporting the transition from on premise infrastructure to the cloud, and defining security practices and policies to integrate with development and operations of products and services. We are seeking talented Product Security Engineers to join our team to help revolutionize our software products, processes, and environments to enable Boeing to deliver complex systems that connect and protect across the globe.Position Responsibilities: In this role you will:
- Support the design and build out of AWS GovCloud based Engineering Environments and Software Factories
- Support/Lead/Oversee the security authorization of projects
- Develop security services, architecture, supporting elements, best practices, and governance for cloud tenants
- Evaluate solutions and architectures for security impacts
- Support/Lead/Oversee Threat Modelling and Security Risk Assessments to identify, prioritize, and mitigate security risks
This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or finalU.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):- Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or chemistry
- Experience with Amazon Web Services
- Experience with cloud service architecture and security
- Experience with Information Systems Architecture
- Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) or DFARS NIST 800-171 Compliance
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):- AWS Certification
- Security Experience such as RMF or DFARS Compliance (NIST SP800-171) experience
- DevSecOps Concepts experience
- Kubernetes and Containers experience
- Security Information Event Management (SIEM) experience
- CISSP or CCSP
Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
