Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Framework Services Product Line Architect and leader to join the Enterprise Software Products & Capabilities (ESPC) organization. This position requires a deep understanding of software architecture and full lifecycle, safety-critical software development. As the Framework Services Product Line Architect, you will architect a safety-critical framework services product line for use across the Boeing Company. Assignments include defining software architecture solutions, estimating software work scope for new and evolving programs, setting overall software team priorities, collaborating with SEIT to bridge software and systems concerns.This position has the option to sit out of Mesa AZ, Plano TX, Long Beach CA, or Hazelwood MO. Position Responsibilities:
- Technical ownership of Framework Services Product Line architecture and oversight of software design
- Collaborate with the ESPC Chief Product Line Architect to architect the Framework Services Product Line in accordance with Enterprise Product Line strategy
- Participate in peer reviews and overall technical product reviews
- Collaborate with the ESPC leadership team
- Mentor software engineers to aid in their career growth
- Foster a culture that supports diversity and inclusion
- Ability to think critically and develop creative solutions
- Ability & willingness to embrace change & ambiguity
- Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or chemistry
- 9+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of real-time software architecture and design methodologies
- Experience with the full software development lifecycle
- Experience with Product Line Engineering
- Experience with mission/safety critical systems
- Experience with ARINC 653 RTOS and Integrated Modular Avionics
- Experience with Linux based operating system
- Experience with Agile development
