Find your future with us.The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a First line manager (Level K) for the Electromagnetic Effects (EME)/Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) capability in Puget Sound, Everett & Tukwila, WA.This position will manage EME/E3 engineers supporting KC-46 and VC-25B, splitting responsibility with the Senior Manager. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed locations. Position Responsibilities:
- Manages employees performing engineering and technical activities in the areas of Electronic and Electrical Engineering.
- Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
- Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
- Manages, develops and motivates employees.
- Knowledge of and 5+ years practical experience in EME/E3 is needed to lead the engineers in the EME capability.
- Understanding of EME/E3 FAA and military requirements, design solutions, test and analysis methodologies used to define and execute our work statements.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
- Active Secret or Top Secret clearance.
- Familiarization with commercial derivative platforms.
- Management of technical engineering personnel.
