Reeves Lavallee, P.C. is seeking a full-time, experienced Associate Attorney, with at least three years of litigation experience. We are a well-respected general practition, located in Worcester, MA, focusing mainly on Family Law, Probate, and Buying and Selling of Real Estate. We are looking for a passionate and empathetic team player with a strong work ethic and a desire for growth opportunities.

You will have the opportunity to own your workload and advance quickly to eventually manage your own team. As the ideal candidate, you will preferably have an interest in Family Law and take pride in the empathy you show your clients while owning and maintaining a high level of trustworthiness and transparency over your work. You will be a motivated self-starter with a demonstrated ability to harness knowledge rapidly to represent clients with your strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Independently conduct trials, represent clients at all stages, including motions, pretrial conferences, and negotiate settlements

- Manage billings of clients

- Provide 5-star quality service to clients, including prompt responses to emails and phone calls and the timely delivery of all required work products without the need for extensions

- Participate in business networking groups and civic and professional associations with the goal to acquire new Family Law clients

Essential Requirements

- 3+ years of experience practicing law (Litigation experience required, Family Law experience preferred)

- Active License to practice law in Massachusetts or pending results from the Massachusetts bar exam taken in February 2022

- Ability to zealously represent clients in court

- Excellent memory and strong critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills with superior attention to detail

- Technically proficient in both persuasive legal writing and the substantive and procedural aspect of domestic relations and civil procedure law combined with great oral communication skills

- Excellent ability to work well independently and collaboratively as a member of a team
