Job description

Position Summary:

Penske Logistics is looking for a Maintenance Operations Supervisor at our grocery warehouse in Kinloch, MO. The warehouse is a 900,000+ square foot building. Work in a warehouse environment with temperatures ranging from 34 degrees to 95 degrees. Direct and supervise all aspects of the Maintenance Department as an extension of the Facility Manager. Ensure the timely completion of all maintenance related inspections. Be the liaison between management and maintenance employees.

1st Shift $55,000 to $62,000

This position will be day shift, start time of 4am, and will oversee 2 Maintenance Technicians.

This position is bonus eligible based on individual performance and location performance. Earnings up to 12% of base salary for max performance.

Major Responsibilities:

-Perform daily, weekly, and monthly inspections of the facility and associated equipment to include preventative checks and repairs

-Performs required minor and/or moderate repairs and general maintenance of the facility and equipment including electrical, carpentry, plumbing, floor repair, rack repair, and painting

-Perform battery changes for all MHE as well as doing minor battery maintenance such as watering and replacing connectors

-Identify and report repairs that require the services of skilled vendors

-Complete and document all safety inspections on fire extinguishers, battery changer, hoists, and more -Perform all duties directed by management as it relates to facility maintenance

-Abide by all work rules and policies outlined by Penske and the local management team -Support operations department by providing suggestions and developing solutions as needed -Be a point of contact during off shift hours for facilities issues

-Experience with repairs and general maintenance of facility and equipment including electrical, carpentry, plumbing, floor repair, rack repair, and painting

-2 years of supervisory experience preferred

-High School diploma or equivalent preferred

-Prior forklift certification preferred

-Basic computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint preferred -Ability to learn and use proprietary software required

-Flexible to work overtime preferred

-Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions

-Ability to lead a small team, ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi tasking skills, organizational skills, flexibility required, excellent with numbers, time management, and ability to execute are required.

-Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

-Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
