Kivel & Howard, a mid-size law firm in Goose Hollow neighborhood is seeking an associate attorney for a non-traditional practice. This is a non-billable attorney position with NO BILLABLE REQUIREMENTS with a focus on work/ life balance. Candidates must have a license to practice law in Oregon, strong analytical skills and research skills, as well as superior attention to detail. This Attorney position has significant interaction with the public, strong customer service skills and phone skills are required. This is a full-time exempt position. This is a position that can help recently admitted lawyers gain experience in a variety of areas of law. Newer and seasoned attorneys will find the work helping people rewarding.
Remote work is available and encouraged due to COVID-19 concerns, with limited onsite training and orientation. Oregon State Bar Licensed attorneys who are non-Portland residents are encouraged to apply as well.

Requirements:
Quick learner with strong problem solving and organizational abilities with an eye for detail and effective independent time management to meet important deadlines
Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them within specific time constraints
Interpersonal skills necessary in order to communicate with clients and potential clients. Customer service is a high priority
Positive attitude
Ability to work on or learn multiple technology platforms and case management system.
