Find your future with us.TheBoeing AvionX organization is seeking a Boeing AvionX - Senior Requirements Management Engineer to join our team in either Plano, Texas, Berkeley, Missouri, Hazelwood, Missouri, Long Beach, California, Huntsville, Alabama or Mesa, Arizona to support AvionX product lines.This is an excellent development opportunity for someone seeking a career path in Engineering Product Lifecycle Management. This role regularly interfaces with managers and engineers to deliver high quality avionics solutions to various programs across the Boeing enterprise. As a member on the Boeing AvionX Development Team, you will play a key role in managing, planning, and execution of requirements management. Teaming with the engineering development team on a daily basis you will develop, implement, and manage Requirements Management Plan (RMP) for the entire project. This role is ideal for those who enjoy working on a variety of systems and products. Our customers vary across both the military and commercial industry. Most of your time will be focused on a flight/safety critical products that will be implemented on various UAVs, eVTOL vehicles, fixed-wing vehicles, and rotor-craft vehicles, and weapons. Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the Requirements Management Plan (RMP)
  • Develop process, procedures, enhancements, installation, deployment, and training for Requirements Management tool (DOORS)
  • Lead/mentor team of resources responsible for performing requirements management
  • Communication of status to management, chief engineer, project leads, and engineers
  • Work with commercial and military platform SEIT requirements to ensure traceability
  • Works under minimal direction
This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
  • 3+ years of experience in engineering
  • 1+ years of experience with DOORS (Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements System)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • 1+ years of Avionics design & development experience
  • 1+ years of MBSE (Model Base Systems Engineering) experience
  • Active security clearance
  • 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, systems integration, software engineering, electrical engineering, certification, network security and/or cybersecurity
Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience).
