Find your future with us.The Missile and Weapon Systems (MWS) Product Security Engineering (PSE) Function is seeking Product Security Engineers to join our team in Huntsville, AL and St. Charles, MO. The MWS PSE team is responsible for the security, resiliency, and safety of our products and services.In this role, you will be responsible for directly developing, deploying, and sustaining PSE Model Based Engineering (MBE) and associated Digital Engineering activities.This role will leverage critical experience in cybersecurity engineering, systems analysis, adversity and risk analysis, design mitigation, MBSE or related systems and software engineering, and test & evaluation. The objective of this effort is to deploy solutions and directives that increase the quality and level of security/resiliency/assurance of our products, while decreasing the complexity and cost to perform recurring activities. You will work across the MWS division, which is a dynamic and growing organization with a leadership team focused on attracting and developing top talent in support of critical missions for National Defense and Strategic Deterrence. The programs that we support include Ground-based Midcourse Defense, Precision-guided Munitions, Integrated Air & Missile Defense products (PAC-3, Avenger, ABMD); Missile Defense Agency National Team (Systems Engineering, C2BMC), and Strategic Deterrence Systems (which includes Minuteman ICBM support and guidance system repair). You will be joining a team of advanced engineers working across Boeing, that are jointly developing best practices, techniques and tools, and a community to draw upon to deliver best value to our customers.Position Responsibilities:
- Implementing and refining PSE MBE features, solutions, and other information sources for multiple programs
- Implementing, piloting, transitioning and sustaining Model Based Security (MBSec) features support program PSE needs
- Support the deployment and implementation/use of MBSE and MBSec across multiple programs
- Support configuration, data and work flow management of MBSE tools and processes
- Participate as a contributor to the Enterprise PSE community for Model Based Solution Kits and Design Practices and patterns
- Work in and utilize agile methodologies for planning and execution of tasks across the team
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical degree
- Experience in systems, mechanical, electrical and/or software engineering
- Experience in analysis of requirements, architecture design and product design
- Experience with Model Based Engineering tools and languages such as Enterprise Architecture, Cameo, MagicDraw, UML/SysML, 3DX, CATIA
- Active U.S. secret security clearance
- Experience in defining, allocating, implementing, assessing, and validating cybersecurity related requirements over the entire engineering and product life-cycle
- Experience in performing, documenting, and communicating the analysis of cyber vulnerabilities, threats, and risks
- Working with Risk Management Framework (RMF) plans and considerations
- Software assurance planning and assessment, including use of static and dynamic code analysis tools and results
- Understanding and experience in systems and/or software engineering, including:
- Development of Architecture, Requirements, Concepts of Operations, and Use Cases
- Development of Hardware and Software products
- Integration and Unit Test
- Verification and Validation
- Testing, including Acceptance and Fielding Tests
- Using Model Based Engineering tools, such as CAMEO, and application of relevant markup languages such as UML and SysML
- Using Development - Security - Operations (DevSecOps) relevant tools and methodologies
- Understanding and working knowledge of various standards, including: DFARS Clause 252.204-7012, CNSSI 1253, DOD 8570, NIST 800-160, NIST 800-53 (and 53A), NIST 800-30, NIST 800-171, NIST 800-55, NIST 800-137, NIST 800-39
- Demonstrated history of performance in systems or software engineering, and operating throughout the course of the engineering or operations lifecycle
- Highly motivated and exhibit strong written and verbal communication, inter-personal, and problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively with external customers and subcontractors in a multi-site and multi-discipline program and environment.
